We were very lucky to get the chance to buy a huge collection of vintage cycling magazines. We have a whole bunch of the Coureur Sporting Cyclist magazines, covering most issues from 1957 through to 1968.

There are too many to photograph individually, and as expected the condition varies, but they're all in good readable condition, especially considering their age. Some have tape repairs, but most are actually in really good shape. They're all priced at £5 each, and having access to a collection like is pretty rare, so you really can't go wrong.

These would make great gifts, just pick a relevant issue and give the gift of history to the lucky recipient.

Matex Tour Meter - 20", 24", 26" or 27" NOS Cyclometer / Mileometer Vintage Cycle Computer

Size

The real deal, 1960s/70s cyclometer (or mileometer if you like), we have all variants for 20", 24", 26", 26 x 1 1/4" or 27" wheels.

Easy to fit, these work by tracking each revolution of the wheel. They work accurately when used with the wheel size specified, but they'll also work relatively accurately when used with a close matching size ie: 26 x 1 1/4" cyclometer with a 26 x 1 3/8" wheel, or 27" cyclometer with a 700c wheel. The readouts will not be completely accurate but if you're not taking it too seriously then it's a decent work-around when you need that authentic old-school mileometer.

Everything is included, and instructions are printed on the inside of the box.

      3/32" is used for double & triple chainsets but can also be used for single ring chainsets. 1/8" is generally used for track chainsets & some single chainsets too.

                Shimano PD-A550 Vintage Aero Pedals

                Most classic bikes will take standard pedals with 9/16" x 20 pedal threads. The most common exception is found on pre-1980s French bikes that often only accept French pedals with slightly different threads (14 x 1.25mm). These are not interchangeable so please make sure to order the correct ones. Either 9/16 x 20" or 14 x 1.25mm should be stamped on the back of the crank arms. If you are unsure, it is always advisable to check with your local bike shop who should be able to help.
