During a late spring clean of our bookmarks folder we found this 4 minute video from Tyne Tees TV c.1994. It compares the difference between custom & hand-made cycles & mass-produced factory bikes. It's a genuinely great insight that shows the time & care taken by master frame-builder Dave Yates in comparison to the mass-produced lower end bicycles that Raleigh ended up churning out by the 1990s. Completely opposite ends of the scale of course, but it puts it all into perspective nonethless.

A great way to spend 4 minutes of your day :)
